Brunella creates two main seasonal collections each year:

Each seasonal collection may be released across several drops, allowing stockists to introduce new fabrics, colours and styles at different points throughout the season.

Alongside the seasonal collections, Brunella continues producing throughout the year through its Essentials collection.

Essentials is Brunella’s year-round collection of trusted shapes, core fabrics and timeless pieces.

Unlike the seasonal collections, Essentials is produced throughout the year. This gives stockists greater flexibility to:

• replenish best sellers
  
• place top-up orders between seasonal drops
  
• add proven shapes to a new order
  
• respond to customer demand
  
• build their Brunella range gradually
  

Essentials are designed to work naturally with the seasonal collections and with pieces from previous years.

The standard production time is approximately 6–8 weeks from order confirmation. Seasonal orders may also follow the scheduled delivery window for each collection or drop.

No. Brunella is not ordered in packs.

You can choose individual styles, colours, sizes and quantities to create an edit that feels right for your store and customer.

The seasonal collection has an overall minimum order, but there is no minimum quantity required for each style, size or colour.

Yes. There is no minimum order for Brunella top-ups.

Top-up orders can be placed across current seasonal collections and Essentials, subject to fabric and production availability.

Because Brunella develops its own fabrics in limited quantities, we recommend reordering successful seasonal pieces while the fabric is still available.

Sometimes, depending on what Brunella still has available.

• If the finished piece is in stock, we can order it straight away.
  
• If the original fabric is available, Brunella can usually remake the style with a minimum of approximately 6 pieces.
  
• If the yarn is still available, Brunella may be able to reproduce the fabric. The minimum quantity will need to be confirmed.
  
• Older colours may also be remade with a minimum of 12 pieces, which can be a mix of different styles in the same colour.

Colours may appear slightly different across screens, so our team can also help if you are deciding between shades or trying to match pieces within an order.

The family spends months researching yarns, colours, weights, textures and new textile combinations. These fabrics are developed specifically for Brunella rather than selected from standard market ranges.

Every collection begins with the fabric. The shapes are then designed to bring out its movement, texture and character.

Yes. Colour is a very important part of Brunella’s identity and is developed within their own creative and production process.

Because Brunella works with intricate yarn combinations and specially developed fabrics, changing the colour can completely transform the same style. A familiar shape may look and feel entirely different in another shade, as each yarn responds to colour in its own way.

The variations in yarn, texture and colour also mean that many pieces feel truly individual and are difficult to reproduce exactly.

The certificate confirms that Brunella meets the required standards for Italian production and craftsmanship.

It is not simply a label added to the garment. The certification must be maintained through regular checks and confirmation by the relevant authorities each year.

For stockists and customers, it is a genuine sign that the piece has been made in Italy according to recognised production standards.

Brunella is best known for linen, but the collections also include cotton, wool and other natural-fibre blends.

The family develops fabrics in different weights and textures, allowing Brunella to be worn across seasons rather than only during summer.

Many Brunella styles are One Size and are designed to be worn relaxed and layered. Other styles are available from XS to XL. As a general guide:

Brunella cuts are often generous and fluid, so the fit can vary depending on the shape and fabric. A size M, for example, will often suit someone between AU sizes 8–12.

Many One Size styles drape comfortably across approximately AU sizes 8–14.

However, this can vary depending on the cut, fabric and intended fit of the garment. A fitted top and a relaxed jacket will naturally sit differently.

Some pieces are intentionally oversized, while others have a softer relaxed fit.

Brunella uses volume, drape and layering as part of its design language, so the fit should not always be judged in the same way as traditional fitted clothing.

Always follow the care instructions on the individual garment label first, as different fabrics and yarn combinations may need different treatment.

In general, Brunella pieces respond best to gentle washing, mild detergent and low heat. Avoid harsh chemicals and aggressive washing cycles.

Linen can feel quite firm or crisp when it has been dried in the sun.

This is normal. As soon as the garment is worn, the fabric begins to soften again through movement and contact with the skin.

The more Brunella linen is worn and washed, the softer and more relaxed it becomes.

We recommend avoiding leaving heavier or loosely woven Brunella pieces on a hanger for long periods.

Natural fibres can relax and drop slightly over time, which may create temporary shoulder marks or change the shape of the garment.

Folding the piece is usually the safest option. If shoulder marks do appear, they will generally soften and relax again with wear, gentle steaming or washing.

Open-weave fabrics are more delicate and can occasionally catch on jewellery, bags or sharp surfaces.

In most cases, the yarn has shifted rather than broken. You can usually correct it by:

• gently stretching the fabric around the area in the direction of the weave
  
• carefully easing the loose yarn back into place
  
• pulling the loop gently through from the inside of the garment
  

Avoid cutting the loose yarn, as this may damage the weave further.

Always check the care label first.

If the label allows it, many Brunella linen and cotton pieces can be placed in the dryer, but we recommend:

• using a gentle or delicate cycle
  
• keeping the heat low
  
• placing the garment in a laundry bag
  
• removing it before it becomes completely over-dried
  

Do not place garments containing wool in the dryer unless the care label specifically says it is safe.

Natural fibres may shrink in the dryer. In many cases, the garment will relax and reshape again through wear, gentle steaming or washing, but care should still be taken.

Yes, gentle steaming is often the easiest way to relax the fabric, remove creases and help the garment return to its natural shape.

Avoid holding the steamer too close to delicate open weaves or wool blends, and always follow the garment care label.

Coloured Brunella garments should not be left in constant sunlight.

Like most naturally dyed or richly coloured fabrics, prolonged sun exposure can cause fading or uneven discolouration. This is particularly important when displaying garments near windows or under strong sunlight throughout the day.

The lighter shades Latte and Naturale are generally more forgiving, but other colours should be rotated regularly and kept away from prolonged direct sun where possible.

For in-store displays, we recommend:

• rotating coloured garments regularly
  
• avoiding the same piece sitting in a sunny window for long periods
  
• moving darker and brighter colours away from direct sunlight
  
• checking window displays often for early signs of fading

In some cases, the garment can be sent back to Brunella and re-dyed in a darker colour.

This depends on the original fabric, colour and condition of the garment. A small re-dyeing fee will apply, and the available darker colour options will need to be confirmed with Brunella first.

Re-dyeing cannot always restore the original shade, but it can give the piece a new life rather than letting it go to waste.
