our labels
Explore the traditions, techniques, and vision behind our family of makers.
At Importante, every label is a thread — distinct in style, craft, and story — yet woven together by a shared commitment to artistry, authenticity, and timeless design.
From linen woven in Positano to bronze cast in Florence, from tailored Italian silhouettes to sustainable Austrian knitwear, each collection brings a new voice to the same conversation: craftsmanship with meaning.
Linen woven in Positano, Italy - since 1965
LA BOTTEGA DI BRUNELLA
For generations, La Bottega di Brunella has been creating linen clothing on the Amalfi Coast using traditional looms and techniques. Their pieces carry the spirit of Positano — effortless, timeless, and deeply tied to the rhythm of Italian summers. Each garment is a testament to heritage, designed to be lived in across seasons.

Italian tailoring, fluid design
SANCTAMUERTE
Sanctamuerte bridges structure and ease, offering collections that balance tailored lines with fluid silhouettes. Crafted in Tuscany, Italy, these pieces carry an edge — contemporary yet timeless, strong yet effortless.
The label reflects a new expression of Italian style: confident, distinctive, and seasonless.

Handcrafted leather from Naples, Italy
INKOLIVES
Inkolives is Importante’s own label — born in Sydney and crafted in Naples through a close collaboration with our artisans. Every sandal, boot, belt, and bag is cut, stitched, and finished by hand using time-honoured techniques. Each piece carries the character of true craftsmanship, designed to last and grow with you.

Bronze and silver jewellery from Florence, Italy
PESCI CHE VOLANO
Pesci Che Volano reimagines ancient artistry through contemporary jewellery. Each piece is cast in bronze or silver using the lost-wax method, a technique passed down through centuries in Florence. The result is jewellery that feels sculptural, tactile, and timeless — wearable art that tells its own story.

Plant-dyed linen from Poland
LEN & SPÓLKA
Len & Spólka celebrates linen in its purest form, produced using organic methods and plant dyes in Poland. Each piece is gentle on the skin and kind to the planet, embodying a philosophy of slow fashion. Simple, natural, and beautifully made, their garments speak of care, balance, and authenticity.

Sustainable knitwear from Austria
STAPF
In the Austrian Alps, Stapf creates knitwear that merges tradition with sustainability. Using natural fibres like wool and boiled wool, their pieces are both warm and lightweight, crafted with respect for nature. Stapf’s collections are seasonless layers — durable, versatile, and designed to accompany life’s everyday journeys.
